Purchases
I was on a mission this morning to find these 'ganchos' or brackets to be used for hanging plants - part of our next project on the roof terrace and needed for tomorrow! Not as easy to find as you might think! Our favourite local ironmonger didn't have them, but could order them for us. The other shop had a type, but too big for our needs and only in white. Eventually I found them in one of the local Chinese-owned bazaars, where you can usually find just about anything you need. The little bottles I bought cos I thought they'd be handy for short trips - I never used them in the past as our trips were always longer stays and I bought shampoo etc locally or just took the bigger sizes. Bb was getting bitten last night on our patio, so I bought those citronella spirals to burn. The hanging plant thing is for our new string of pearls and the little measuring tape always comes in handy and I carry it around in my bag.
By the time I'd been round the different places, I was hot and a bit bothered. I then got a text from Bb asking me to buy a tennis ball (for a work thing this afternoon) and paper! I went looking for La Vanguardia in Castellano - two shops only had it in Catalan by that time, but I found the tennis ball in the original Chinese Bazaar. When I got back, Bb said it wasn't the newspaper he wanted, but a pack of paper for the printer!
