Yorkshire Sculpture Park

A great day out spent with friends at Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Nr Wakefield.

As usual decided on a collage.
Top left: West Bretton Hall,(Built about 1720 by the owner, Sir William Wentworth)
Top right: New exhibition by Yinka Shonibare MBE. SEE HERE I enjoyed it, not quite MrC's cup of tea!
Bottom left: Camellia. (Taken inside the Camellia House)
Bottom middle: Heronry in the middle of the lake.
Bottom right: Old 18th century Boat House.

Such a lot to see. You need more than a day to look round.
Car park £7.50 for the day, well worth it as everything else free.

Finished off in the café with soup and salad for a late lunch.

Back to our friends, and then came home with several cuttings and plants from their garden. Just finished planting them.

What a very enjoyable day!
