Love will Steer the Stars

There is a special occasion coming up so I have been rummaging in our boxes of memories. We were there at the Palace Theatre, Manchester for the dawning of the Age of Aquarius, and still have the programme, which says that it was somewhere between 3 March and 11 April 1970. It had a long run there. Paul Nicholas and Floella Benjamin were in the cast. I remember clearly the exciting beginning, when the cast who were spread throughout the theatre , made their way to the stage climbing over the seats. This created a rapport with the audience. Oh, and some of the cast weren’t wearing much. It was a fabulous, marvellous night. We had not been going out together for very long.
