Angry Bird

Fit for very little today, thanks to Covid. Managed to sit outside for a while, and as usual was joined by our cat. Then I became aware of a very noisy, agitated piping sound that emanated from the blackbird in the blip. He and his mate, who was also around, must have a nest nearby as he was furious at the cat for daring to be in the garden. The whole time she was out, the bird was hopping in the branch, challenging and threatening the cat and staring her out. It was really aggressive behaviour and didn’t seem particularly bothered at me taking pictures of it. Eventually the cat got bored and went inside, and the noise ceased immediately.
