I took a very similar photo to this last year and was reminded of it yesterday when a pupil was showing me how to write 'hello' upside down on their calculator. I really like it when pupils show me things that I remember from being at school. It's kind of reassuring to know that in an ever changing world, some things stay the same.

I can't remember when I discovered this particular calculator trick but it never fails to make me smile.
