In her element

Highlight of a long day.   I was able to take Ruth to the sailing club at Edgebaston reservoir.  She’s long been a keen and capable sailor but since losing the use of her legs it’s been harder to find opportunities to sail.  This club, so close to central Birmingham and only a short drive from home, is a great resource …. if she can get there.   Sadly support with this is rarely available at present.  In a class of boat used for paralympic events, she had a great time today and Meg and I got a decent walk round the water.  

I’d been up early for some last minute watering and hit the road at 10am.  After sailing we had a myriad of things to do, mostly prepping for tomorrow’s trip to Poole.  By midnight we finally collapsed onto the sofa.  Tomorrow is another day
