Not the kids this time

These markings are appearing around the village as the utilities  companies continue to dig up the pavements. I don’t know who is doing what as we haven’t been involved. The only problem is that the pavements are left with a  patchwork appearance. 

A short visit from a neighbour this morning for me to witness a signature, job done, then needles and natter this afternoon. A sewing and tennis viewing session this evening, it’s all getting very exciting.
