Damselflies

I've been pond dipping all day today at Castle Espie.  We found lots of newt tadpoles, and even 2 adult newts. There were also lots of damselfly nymphs - and some beautiful damselflies. Aren't they the most amazing colour, they're stunning! 
I'll be back at Castle Espie again on Saturday for the Wetland Rangers, that should be fun!
