Fused

A possible contender for most boring blip of the year. Stayed in most of the day as an electrician was scheduled to appear between noon and 4 pm.....so he appeared at 4.20 pm. The traffic is very bad in Leith - who'd have thought?

Anyway, he fixed the problem in a jiffy (a wall heater had stopped working and when I tried to get the fuse out to change it the plastic shattered). Needed a whole new switch - it's called a fused spur, apparently.

D was at home - an unexpected day off from the island since there were going to be no ferries bringing visitors, the boats all being engaged in tendering for cruise ships that are in the Forth. Slept in till 7 am - what a treat!
