Something a bit different today....

..... the Rolling Stones at Hyde Park! They're celebrating 60 years of performing, and as I've no doubt bored people telling them - I saw them 60 years ago, so it's my 60 years celebration too.

They were fabulous as ever. Great sound, new musicians in the band brilliant, a great occasion for me, and my daughter seemed to enjoy it too. She couldn't believe Mick could dance around like he does for over 2 hours non-stop!

We were not in the front area, a little bit further back, room to sit on the grass until they came on and bop around a bit!  Could just  about see the tiny figures on the stage! The extras were mainly taken of the big screens.

It was sold out, but no pressure from crowds, at least not until everyone tried to leave. Roads round Marble Arch were closed, as was the tube station, huge queues of buses caught in a jam. My daughter and I were staying in a Premier Inn just off Tottenham Court Rd, and we gave up waiting for a bus so walked back, quite a trek.
