Rome

Well we made it to Rome despite Manchester airport’s best efforts to keep everyone on the ground. We had no checked luggage but it took us nearly 3 hours to get through security. Out of 14 scanners only 2 were being used. People were literally running to the Gates. Another 5 minutes and we would have missed the the flight. 
The hotel is really nice with great aircon and we met Neil & Sals and our grandson for a lovely dinner.
