Strata Florida Abbey (Abaty Ynys Lochtyn)

Latin for ‘Vale of Flowers’, the abbey has stood beside the banks of the river Teifi since 1201. We looked round it after a rather anxious moment when an out-of-date guide book of walks left us wandering like lost souls for a while and added an extra mile to the walk.
