hanging baskets

Every year I go to a local garden centre where they have hanging basket workshops. For a set price you get everything you need... basket, soil, moss, plants etc and they take you through the planting step by step.

You also get a nice cup of tea and meet new people while you are doing it.

The baskets then go into their heated greenhouse for a few weeks to mature while the frosts finish and when you pick them up they are massive and in full bloom.

In fact my friend teases me and says she's only ever seen such big amazing hanging baskets outside a pub and can she order a pint?!

Today I made two baskets, one for me and one for my lovely next door neighbour who couldn't be there today.
