Hallowed turf

I grew up hearing about Albion Rd and Easter Rd and the Hibs and how my dad had been at the New Year derby when I was due to be born. Today was the first time I'd been in the ground and not for a happy occasion but for the commemoration service of one my colleagues. Des Ryan had been CE of Edinburgh Cyrenians for 25 years. He was only 55. It was a huge crowd that gathered to celebrate his life and say farewell.
I walked with Sir Tom Farmer, another legend in Edinburgh.

Weather wise it started off v wet and improved to sunny in the afternoon but the forecast is bad.

Singing tonight and early morning tomorrow.
