After the Storm

(Catch up blip, as was yesterday's)

We had some pretty good rainstorms throughout the day. The monsoon doesn't usually begin until the first few days of July but it began really early this year.  In fact, I think Green Valley has already gotten over an inch of the wet stuff.

Just before sunset, the skies began to clear. Color appeared in the southeast, rather than the west as one might expect. Since it was a gift to me, I thought I would favor it with a photograph. The oddly branched plant in the foreground is a cholla (pronounced choy'-a) cactus.
