The latest litter

Three fawns this time! The neighbor, whose backyard it is, is really annoyed (“the darned things eat everything!”) but she called me to see if i wanted to take some pix.

Mama deer is pretty smart: the yard is fenced in and the fawns cannot (yet) jump the fence, so they are relatively safe there while mama goes foraging around (or perhaps just catches a bit of ‘me time’) ;)
