Scottish Merchant Navy Memorial

We met our friends for a very good brunch this morning before parting company, they back to Kelso, and us to explore Edinburgh.   We decided on a long walk, up and over Princes Street to the Royal Botanic Garden, and then along the Water of Leith to Leith itself, where we had a very nice dinner.    The little chap here is one of many on the Scottish Merchant Navy Memorial near Leith Docks.  The extras are a squirrel (I know, I know!) from the Botanic Garden and the view back towards Edinburgh from Seaford.
