Arrived!

Well Gatwick was busy this morning but having checked bags in last night it wasn’t too bad! Plane was only delayed by 45 mins which really was better than we had feared. We met my son, daughter in law and grandson in the departure lounge and all was well until about 15 mins before we landed. Grandson then became distressed and to cut a long story short, he had a high fever. He saw a doctor in the hotel who diagnosed a throat infection and sent us off with 3 prescriptions. Being a Sunday and not in a main town this lead us on a wild goose chase to find a pharmacy, 2 Uber rides later we found a pharmacy open but they didn’t have the prescribed medication.:(. We didn’t risk making our way to another town as public transport was non existent. We returned to hotel with calpol to hopefully ease symptoms over night
and a plan to try again tomorrow. This should be easier as it will be Monday.
