40th Party

Our daughter, our first child, L was born 40 years ago this week. We had a surprise family party today. The rain which fell briefly just as our guests arrived did not spoil the fun. We floated 40 red balloons over the proceedings, had a delicious bbq lunch and plenty of fun games including giant whack a mole, juggling and rounders. L’s MIL baked this super cake and we all had a most memorable day. Our youngest and his partner worked wonders too!
