Liverpool-Chester-Liverpool

The Queensway Tunnel is an iconic feature of Liverpool taking vehicles beneath The Mersey to the Wirral, and beyond.

Today it was closed for most of the day to allow cyclists to experience it on two wheels as part of various routes.

Mum and I completed the Liverpool-Chester-Liverpool route which went through the tunnel before heading out to Chester F.C ground. It then looped back round to Liverpool, which of course involved a second ride through the tunnel.

A brilliant, well organised and fun event. :-D
