Moules marinieres

I recently read a book , A Long Petal of the Sea. By Isabelle Allende. I really enjoyed the book. It tells the story of people who escaped the Spanish Civil War.  Many of them escaped to Argeles Sur Mer where we cycled to today, but were then interned in horrible conditions.  We stumbled  across a small museum about this event and it was really interesting.
We had our lunch at a little cafe on the beach Moules for Loosecanon seen here, and calamari for me.
