A trip on the Yorkshire Belle from Bridlington
This was my third attempt at a boat trip around Bempton Cliffs, both the previous ones having been cancelled because of high winds.
We were so lucky! Dolphins playing around the boat, and crowds of seabirds. Samples attached in extras. It was a Royal Society for the Protection of Birds trip, with a wonderfully informative commentary. Who knew that gannets incubate their eggs by standing on them, with those big floppy feet..?
Having got back in Sunday, my main Blip catch up will be Monday now . Thankfully the tummy bug cleared up just in time for the trip - phew, it was a bit too close for comfort.
