The Race

Today the Oxenhope Straw Race was resurrected after Covid.  Participants raise money for worthy causes around the area, the main being the Manorlands Hospice.  The teams dress up in fancy costumes and run over a course - mainly uphill - and have to drink beer at four stops on the way to the finish line.
