2022 Friday — Grandson Justin

Our grandson-in-law Justin (right side of photo), Desiree’s husband, Tristan, Jade, and Emillia’s dad, re-enlisted today in the U.S. Navy. He made this announcement on his social media yesterday:

“If you guys don’t know yet, I will be reenlisting tomorrow at 10:00 at lake Murray on my kayak, right off the beach area. All are welcome to come, and if you can’t make it, there should be pictures after!”

We were not able to attend. They are in San Diego; we are about six hours north of them. This is a screenshot from a video we were sent of the ceremony. Justin is an award winning bass fisherman. He fishes from his kayak. So that possibly explains why the ceremony was at the lake. His Navy duty revolves around helicopters.
