Purple Iris

Another shot from my "yard study" up the street. In the Spring most of my flower shots are from this location. The entire yard is planted with something other than grass, and a nice little pond out back. Hopefully I can get some nice reflection shots later on from the water.

I love these flowers, nice detail in every color. I also like how the petals are pearlescent in the sun.
