Rubbish or nesting material?!

Weather today still warm, 19 degrees, but some cloud and a breeze. Decided to take a long walk as nothing urgent to do at home so was out most of the morning. Cuppa with two friends this afternoon and delivered some newsletters.
The blip today is of a moorhen on her nest. Went past the village duckpond yesterday evening and saw her but didn't have the camera, also didn't realise at first that she was there, just thought it was rubbish! So I had to go back today and she was swimming with three babies but soon went back to the nest where she has another 4 eggs! Look large. I was so amused about the rubbish she had used. What is it they say, something about one mans rubbish being anothers treasure!
