Elegant pair

Walked the dogs round the grounds of the Museum of Modern Art with S-i-L Sarah and it was sunny and lovely.  V and I went to the brilliant Barbara Hepworth Life and Art exhibition also in the Museum later in the morning.  Smaller pieces than in St Ives but some wonderful drawings and her writings were intimate and very powerful particularly about being a woman, a mother and an artist in the pre and post war years. 

In the afternoon we went into the centre of Edinburgh to buy some Scottish gin to take with us and V went to pick up his stepdaughter Alexis from the airport as she flew in from LA.  I took this of S-i-L Sarah and the dog walking down by the Water of Leith. 

Lovely dinner in the evening. Beautiful Edinburgh.
