my birthday

It’s my birthday today and Kathy and (big) Jim, Holly, Tom and (little) Jim came over to celebrate. We had a lovely day. They bought me a big clay set with all the paints and tools and we sat round the table each creating something out of air-drying clay and chatting. Everything’s got to dry for 8 days before it can be painted, then I’ll blip them. Today’s blip was painted by Holly. It’s big and goes most of the way across the chimneybreast. I love it, the colours are wonderful. I’m really pleased she’s started painting again. She said it’s based on the Hadron Collider photos. Mr I is going to hang it tomorrow.
