Bare

It's been a well-paced, productive day.** G decided to clean the kitchen  thoroughly, even behind the fridge. This involved taking off ALL the magnets on it (I haven't got a before picture). It took a while to get them all off, some of these putting up a big fight. I can't believe how many there were! A whole basket full and then some. A whole basket full and then some. The fridge looks so bare now, and the kitchen huge. She also rearranged the cupboard for glasses.

The fridge has been moved in the last ten years (thank goodness). It was definitely good to do it again. All this means is that you get involved in a job, and suddenly, it's bigger than you anticipated. I did get to my desk before lunch and then again in the afternoon.

** I should record... there was a 6.1 magnitude earthquake in Southern Iran in the early hours of the morning, and for the first time ever, I felt the tremor! It's such a strange feeling.
