Let's go fly a kite

An ideal afternoon for kite flying ..... if you can manage to keep the kite in the air.
Not the easiest picture to take as the wind caught the kite and up it soared while I struggled to find the image in my viewfinder .... it would be so much easier if the kite was static.

The effects of the Bird Flu have reached the beach in Elie. This afternoon we saw a dead Guillemot and a dead Gannet .... so sad and for their own safety most of the dogs were kept on their leads instead of enjoying the usual run around between sea and sand.
