The kiss of death

Nature red in tooth and claw live in our front garden!  This small green spider has ambushed an insect and sucked out its contents.  I'm afraid I don't know my spiders so I can't identify the type of spider.

Can anyone suggest a good reference book to help with identifying spiders?
