Spider Wart

This beautiful little flower is stronger than it looks. It grows on the sides of the highway in the eastern plains of Colorado, where the life is windy, dusty, and hard. But that doesn’t hinder these hardy plants. My husband brought a few home, and they grow well in our sandy soil.
