Greenstuffs

Did an early shift at the allotment, although didn't start strimming till after 9 am! Used a whole battery's worth of juice, and still didn't get to the end of the plot. Hmm, and we seem to have rather a lot of poppies - but the bees do so love them. I just managed to stop short of strimming some nettles, when I noticed they were occupied - see extra. Think that's going to be a small tortoiseshell.....

Later on went up town with Mel to see a film at the Storytelling centre that Doc made out of archive recordings he has of old Scots singers (some from Aberdeenshire, lots of the Stewarts of Blairgowrie, Hamish Henderson himself and some from the Borders). Great stuff.
