Spot the deer

Out early for a walk this morning and came across this deer as I walked through the woods. He and I looked at each other for a while, then he sauntered on his way. Magical.

The bulldozers have been working in the woods, I think to remove some old and unsafe trees, but they’ve made a complete mess of the paths, leaving branches completely blocking the path in places. I got a bit lost at one point (and it’s only a very small wood) so had to backtrack and seek out the right path to take. All good exercise, I guess!
