Bursting forth
We arrived back from our break in Suffolk yesterday afternoon and pottered across to the allotment to get some salad leaves for part of our supper. Everything is growing very well although very dry. We picked a bowl full of blueberries to have for breakfast, the last of the broadbeans and various leaves.
We have a large pot with an agapanthus growing in it. I had meant to divide it up this Spring but left it too late it is about to burst into flower now.
We have people coming for supper tonight although one couple have had to pull out with illness, l hope it is not this new Covid variety which seems to be on the rise with one in every 30 people in England reported to be suffering from it.
