A Giant Macaron and Second Degree Burn Cream

Woke up feeling super productive, it wasn't to last.
Went to deliver my CV do the creperie and really made a complete fool of myself speaking French. There are times when I open my mouth and French just doesn't come out. This was one of them. Don't think they'll be employing me somehow.
Needed to go to the library - which was closed. Needed to do some shopping - the shops were closed. Remind me to never go out at lunch time.
Went to the bakery to console myself.
Came home and did yet more job applications on the balcony. Clearly I didn't realise just how hot it was. I have never seen sunburn so red. On my calves too... I didn't even know that was possible.

At 8, Lyse came to knock for me and we commenced our baking of a giant macaroon which was cool. Far more complex than I expected. Unfortunately, our creme didn't set properly, but the macaroon itself worked well. It was a nice evening of family time, and Myriam really is one of the sweetest people I've ever met.
