Splish, Splash, Splosh!

When the heavens open and there's just nowhere to shelter, what is there to do but embrace the monsoon!! I did just that on my Frikend evening stroll, I was absolutely dripping...and naturally half an hour later the skies has turned blue and the sun was shining. Never mind, it was an invigorating start to the weekend!

It's been Transition Day at school so I've had the Reception (soon to be Class 1) children visiting my classroom. They're a small class of only 20 of which 15 are boys and just 5 girls. When they'd gone back to Reception at the end of the day, their teacher asked how it was in class 1, one boy responded "well, it's just perfect". Not sure he'll remain of that opinion!!!

Today is the start of the Tour de France, yippee!
