Frog in the garden

This morning a small yellow frog hopped its way across the lawn. Its mottled skin made it almost indistinguishable from grass that has been scoured by winter snow and ice, but every time it moved it gave away its position.
Hopefully it has been eating the slugs that would otherwise attack the hostas. The plan is to visit the Bowden Hostas stand at Gardening Scotland 2013 to stock up on 'Frances Williams' and 'Titanic' both of them giant hostas that should flourish in the semi-shade of the back garden.
