Early Doors

We’ve been waiting a wee while for our new doors to arrive. In the end they were delivered and installed a day early, with our approval.

My blip shows the old front door on its way out. We liked its style but less its flimsy security and draughts. We also replaced the back door. We are pleased with the new look.

The fitters arrived early and were all done well before lunch. This meant we could both go to our 7 year old’s first public sports day. The pandemic has robbed so much from so many in innumerable ways.

He ran and “egg and spooned” really well! We were very impressed by the school’s organisation. The large crowd of parents and grandparents were very appreciative despite the chilly breeze and the occasional showers.
