Not in my Day

When I left the area in 1980 this giant of engineering was probably not even a twinkle in anyone’s eye. The Falkirk Wheel is a fantastic piece of engineering with the barge coming out having just been lowered from the Union Canal heading for the Forth & Clyde Canal.
