Back to work.

Some nostalgia.
I worked in this building every working day for 29 years.
I have been retired for 28 years.
So it was a very pleasurable surprise when the present University Secretary and Registrar issued an invitation to those who held the office before him and who are still alive and kicking, to join him for lunch.
It was a very enjoyable occasion. Lots of memories of events from years ago such as student ‘sit ins’. Much laughter and good fellowship.
I am just so relieved that I don’t have the job today.
