Would like to know what happened to the rest of the bike (and the rider)!

Have been trying to arrange an annual get together with former work colleagues.  When we met up in October last year, it was agreed that a summer meet up would be a good idea.  
I have been trying since May to get a date that suits everyone.  Guess what! It has got to be October again.  Retired people lead such busy lives.
I retired 24 years ago and the youngest  in the  gang retired fully last year.  It was easier when the majority were still working and not gadding about so much!
Enjoyed a freebie drink and cake with a friend thanks to John Lewis.  Ages since I got a free drink and cake and this time it was for two!
