Salvia

Also called Sage. I won't try to identify it specifically because there are 700 to 900 different varieties. Salvia is in the mint family and the leaves do look like mint. We shall just call it 'Salvia in our Garden'.

Received word today that the funeral of my Brother-in-Law, Jim, will be held on Friday, April 26. Spent most of the day arranging transportation and lodging. I will leave Thursday for Columbus and Bellefontaine, Ohio and return to Tucson on Saturday.

Jim was about 83 and was married to and survived my sister. As I recall, he had a heart attack at age 48 and another bad one at about age 52 which caused him to take a disability retirement. He has been on full-time oxygen for about 15 years. He died peacefully at home in his chair.
