Lucky find!

It was DEAR Day at school today - Drop Everything And Read - where students spend the first ten minutes of every lesson reading a book of their choice.

It’s always nice if the teachers set a good example by reading, too, and I was thrilled to find this in a charity shop last weekend - perfect, and only 50p!

It was published in 1996 and I’ve only read the introduction so far but it’ll be interesting to compare things like its predictions about the use of electric cars or the melting of Antarctic ice with how they actually are today.
