Peace Garden

A local hotel/conference centre (Les Cotils)has lovely views over St Peter Port and the neighbouring islands. We were at a cousins reunion today as some of my husbands family were visiting from UK. We met at Les Cotils and had coffee and a lovely catch up with local family too. We were told by a gardener as we were leaving that they had created a Peace Garden as a result of some money left to them. We took a walk through it and it was stunning and peaceful. This butterfly seemed to lead us as we walked. The photo of a single tree is said to be 400 yrs old, the oldest in Guernsey. A few in extras of the garden.
