Eccup

A there and back walk at Eccup this afternoon, it was warmer than expected and we were grateful for the breeze as we neared the car. The fields of cereal are gold and yellow. Thankful that it rained overnight, the ground and water butt are replenished.

In the garden the starlings with young and wood pigeons gather at the feeder. I have sighted only one adult Magpie with one chick this year, disappointing as we had a family of four last year. The squirrels are less frequent visitors now that the Sunflower seed feeder has been removed and they are yet to crack the Ultra-feeder.
