Feral cat

This cat has been hanging around my garden for several days. Very thin, timid and permanently hungry. I tried not to put food out for the first couple of days, but plaintive meowing has forced my hand. I suspect, from his/her behaviour, that he/she has had a home once. Olivia and Russell don't want this to be his/her second home. They've made that very clear.
