midnight to elan

I'm in a mad dash to enter a regional photography competition. I've got the five images, but finding them over three computers, in a somewhat unorganised filing system is proving to be a challenge. I've picked them from blipfoto entries, so I'm going back through dates and lightroom edits.
If anyone has a foolproof filing system for photos, please let me know. (I think it may just be time spent)
