NOT WHAT I EXPECTED.

I purchased this Passiflora about two years ago and it was supposed to be the Amethyst variety.  Having nurtured it all this time and watching the buds appear, you can imagine my shock.

Definitely not what I expected.  I shall be on the hunt for the variety I want.

Having chopped down an ailing plum tree over the weekend which was covered in white fly, we went over to East Lambrook Gardens to purchase three new plants.  It never disappoints so late yesterday afternoon I was busy planting knowing the rain was due.

No slug or snail damage this morning, thank goodness.  I won't ever be able to grow Delphiniums in this garden sadly.
