Garden Visitor

Today was spent testing my late Dad's old railway engines (5 duds, 4 maybes and 7 OK), doing some choir admin and practising for Saturday's concert, I didn't manage to get out today. So it was a quick buzz round the garden with the camera before tonight's choir rehearsal.

The lavender in the front garden is coming into full bloom, and the smell is gorgeous.  The insects clearly think so too, as it was buzzing with bees and hoverflies. A couple of small white butterflies were also flitting around, and one rested long enough for me to get this shot.

Tagged for  Jenphotos's Tiny Tuesday, though clearly not a mystery!
